Well, it’s officially summer time! Preschool is done for the year (I cannot believe that) and the weather in Dallas is seriously heating up. I think there is only one day next week where we are below triple digits. I was hoping for a more gradual build up to the Texas heat, but it’s here and will be for the next few months!
Anyways, I was chatting with a girlfriend earlier this about our summer calendars, because without preschool, we need lots and lots of activities! We do have a couple road trips planned and one trip up to Seattle later this summer, but I am always looking for new ideas to keep these munchkins busy. And any time we can be out of the house where they are prone to fighting and making messes, well I’m up for that. 🙂
Some of these are catered to older kids (mine are 3 and 2) but I’m especially liking the idea of exploring new Farmer’s Markets. We have a cute one in town, but it’s always fun to switch things up.
What is it about boys and dirt? Ugh….
We had a pool party with some friends to kick off summer last weekend and my sweet friend captured some awesome shots of the kiddos. So sweet.
That’s all for now. Somehow both kids are napping and I think I’m just going to sit here and enjoy the silence.
Have a great weekend everyone!!
